Troy, could you show opal/libltdl/config.log, or, if that does not
reveal anything suspicious, the corresponding part of toplevel
config.log (above message should be recorded there)? Thanks.
What creates opal/libltdl? There's nothing in it..
Are you building from tarball or svn? From tarball, it should be in
the tarball. From SVN, it should be created in the source tree when
you run autogen.sh.
