Hi,

using the new Om 2008.8 image, /usr/sbin/packagekitd is running and blocks
the use of opkg on command line:

        [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~# opkg install vte
        Collected errors:
         * Could not obtain administrative lock

        [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~# fuser /usr/lib/opkg/lock
        2805

        [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~# ps up 2805
USER PID %CPU %MEM VSZ RSS TTY STAT START TIME COMMAND
        root 2805 5.4 12.7 35248 15752 ? S 16:53 0:04
/usr/sbin/packagekitd

is there a opkg-like command line tool which talks/works with packagekitd ?

or how should this be handled from a remote login or local terminal
(other than "pkill packagekitd" or similar) ?

thanks,

Harald
