Category: core Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Stanislaw Pitucha (viraptor) Assigned to: Bogdan-Andrei Iancu (bogdan_iancu) >Summary: no support for random selection of SRV records Initial Comment: Openser doesn't seem to support random selection of SRV records as described in RFC 2782. Standard procedure involves client selecting one of records on given priority level randomly using rng and running sum of SRV record weights. Currently openser always chooses the record with greatest weight.
