I confirm the issue on one kde machine,
but I am not able to produce useful info either, and therefore giving up opening a new bug.

Guys,
I prefer to ask there whether or not it's the case to open a bug about that, cause this is difficult to reproduce and AFAIK Magneto will soon
finish its life cycle.
Some times, Magneto on KDE crashes on startup. It seems to be
something related to some synchronization / wait, because it happens
randomly. I verified this on at least five systems.

It's hard to do: as I said, the issue happens randomly. After the
crash, if Magneto is relaunched it always starts flawlessly. If you
have any hint for me on how to get more informations, I'll be glad to
do it.

Just a note: the slower the system, the more frequent is the issue.
