You can also count me among the people that still log a lot of time on a x86 machine.
Having said that, the PAE issue should mostly affect really old x86 machines (with the exception of early Pentium M processors). The i686 or better on the Intel side should support PAE. Athlon or better should also support PAE. If I read correctly, even my old 300 MHz Intel Celeron would have supported PAE.
