Hi,

My second issue with the version of libmapi I am testing with, is
Kerberos authentication. As Evolution itself seems to be able to do
Kerberos authentication, I would like to use Kerberos to authenticate
against Exchange. (Well, at least Evolution has dependencies on
libkrb5 and libgssapi_krb5: I am assuming Evolution can do Kerberos
authentication, though I've never actually set it up).

It is however unclear to me whether the combination of Evolution and
libmapi can work with this, as (1) both a username and a password are
requested during setup of an account, (2) I am prompted for password
whenever I switch views and (3) I cannot see any Kerberos activity
within the Evolution process in a strace other than the loading of
some krb5 libs when Evolution starts. The klist command does not show
any credentials for the Exchange machine, but does show credentials
for other services.

Our Exchange infrastructure runs on E2007. My machine is an Intrepid
box with Evolution 2.22.3.1-0ubuntu1 and the svn679 build of libmapi.

Can anyone report success in trying to get libmapi to work with E2007
and Kerberos authentication against a Windows 2003 domain controller?
Having single-signon is a must-have for any environment in which
Evolution is meant to replace Outlook...

Thanks!
