I have one screen with 87dpi, and another witha 160dpi, XINERAMA just
doesn't deal with it well AFAICT. I solved the problem by just having
two different screens and turning off XINERAMA, as a bonus XV and GL now
work again, and I can control font sizes on a scree-by-screen basis via
Xresources. if only there were an extension allowing windows to be
migrated between screens by the window manager, then one need not deal
with the problems of XINERAMA. not that XINERAMA is bad, it is just not
the ideal solution in a lot of cases.
