I believe there has been an incompatibility introduced between the real
Motif and recent versions of 64 bit Xorg. I have mentioned them here
before. I don't think this is a bug in nedit (but I don't know that for
sure). For me, versions of nedit compiled against Openmotif have
copy/paste crashes, but nedit compiled against lesstif does not.
