This is a good point - we sorted out the code to handle the new constituencies and move users over, but we haven't got a new map yet. I think that svg we got was from wikipedia - any ideas where to get the new boundaries? The obvious legal issue of OS comes up at this point.

This seems to be based on the old (currently existing) constituency boundaries rather than those that will apply at the next election.

Any ideas?

On a related point, does anyone have a more up to date map on
broadband take up than this :
    http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/4483065.stm which would
highlight any trends shown in the other two maps?

I've volunteered with youngsters in Glasgow North in the past and
I have seen a massive disaffection with the political process
there because the children and the other volunteers felt
completely disconnected from politics and couldn't understand how
    voting could make a difference.

I don't know if the electoral commission have done anything on
this disaffection, but I can easily understand an attitude like
that, prevailing in an area, would dampen enthusiasm for any
    political engagement.

    Hi,

It's taking a very long time to get the last 7% of constituencies
covered in Democracy Club. I was just looking at the map on the left
    showing where these constituencies are:

    http://www.democracyclub.org.uk/statistics/

It struck me that it bears a striking resemblance to maps of high
unemployment, low income, child poverty e.g.
    http://www.poverty.org.uk/02/index.shtml#g3

I don't really have a particular point; I suppose the question is, Is
there a meaningful correlation, and if there is, how can we best
    access activists in low-income areas?
