What is the ECF? eCampaigningForum? How does Advocacy Online "streamline" the process? Sorry, I'm just a bit confused by the context of this message.

Point taken on the TWFY quiz being quite late - can't help it much, though.

I was hoping that all these questions people are asking could be collated on someplace like YourNextMP, but we haven't really designed for it.

I imagine quite a few surveys are just push-polling, though, so they don't really care about actually advertising the results/questions.

Sounds like a terrific opportunity to open source the questions groups
are a putting to candidates for office.

Any chance your partner might share the questions being asked? (If not
now, after the election.)

Morning all.

As a long time ECF fan I love the discussion on here.

However as a recipient of many of your campaigns (my partner is a
Parliamentary candidate) can I just ask one question: Why did so many of you
leave it to the middle of an election campaign to contact candidates?

I’m only asking because most candidates and their (in our case entirely
voluntary) teams are working c.16 hours a day during the election campaign –
so a flood of emails asking us our policy views is bad timing – though of
course we are doing our best to answer all 250 so far that we have received.

Hats off to Advocacy Online for starting a system that at least streamlines
some of this!

Happy campaigning,

Rob. J
