Hi all, I blogged about this earlier in the week, but I just want to reiterate what a very cool thing this is that Matthew Somerville and Edmund von der Burg have done with Petter and Christer. Only four days after the Norwegian Unix Users Group launched http://www.fiksgatami.no it has already raced past 1000 reports.
It's so nice to see an install of FMS that covers a *whole* country, as it was built to do, and so nice to work on a project that allows us to improve the quality and re-usability of our open source code. . Here's more of my thoughts on the topic: http://www.mysociety.org/2011/03/07/fixmystreet-in-norway/ We'll be working on a range of improvements to the FixMyStreet system this year, making it better for regular users, better for first timers, and generally slicker and more social. But what would make me happiest of all would be if we could see more international installations using our updated code and contributing back to it. Anyone up for that? best, Tom _______________________________________________ developers-public mailing list [email protected] https://secure.mysociety.org/admin/lists/mailman/listinfo/developers-public Unsubscribe: https://secure.mysociety.org/admin/lists/mailman/options/developers-public/archive%40mail-archive.com
