I originally sent a reply to the list right after receiving your

later.  Sorry about that.  Matthew replied more concisely in the

There's the "global" label in the GitHub issues list for MapIt:

Please do go ahead and create issues for anything you think we
ought to fix, particularly for the kind of browsing and API
issues you mentioned.

As far as issues with missing boundaries go, MapIt should have
every relation or and way tagged with boundary=administrative
and admin_level from 2 to 11, so long as they form only closed
polygons at the time of import.  If something has been fixed
since the import (which we can check quickly), that'll be find
after the next import.  If it's still unclosed or broken in some
way in OSM, then it's best to try to fix it there.
