SCAN will be turned 'off' by default in the next release (essentially, the SCAN servlet and the SCAN modules will be made inactive, you can turn them on by hand).
Documentation need be provided for turning SCAN on, and the jsp editors (including possible altenratives) should be reviewed.

Currently, SCAN is still on. Turning off Scan as a default scripting language will encourage use and development of jsp.
Ofcourse, turning SCAN on shpuld still eb possible, and a readme should provide info on how to do this.
The default editors /admin pages will then be the jsp versions (though we will add alternate jsp editor implementations to the distro if they are accepted).
