FYI,

Because of the recent update to a new CVS version, which is not
backwards compatible, you can find troubles with new check-outs of the
'src' or 'all' modules. When you do 'cvs update -d -P' a nice mess is
created in the src/org directory (the complete repository is put
there).

See
http://mail.gnu.org/archive/html/info-cvs/2003-02/threads.html#00253
for the question about this issue I coined into the info-cvs mailing
list.

A work-around may be to manually change src/org/CVS/Repository from
'.' to 'CVSROOT/ (I'll attach a Repository file)

We should perhaps look for a nicer solution, which could perhaps
envolve actually moving 'mmbase' to 'src/org/mmbase' in the
repository, which will - just a guess - probably mean that everybody
has to check out again?
