I feel like we are in an internal loop here. The communitprc is shipped because the community app is installed because it provides some examples.
I'm talking about applications as stated on the download page:

That refer to these zip files:
mmbase-1.7.1-cloudcontextsecurity.zip mmbase-1.7.1-email.zip mmbase-1.7.1-media.zip mmbase-1.7.1-scan.zip
My suggestion is to put all the examples and the cummunity app in an "application" like mmbase-X.X.X-examples.zip and remove it from mmbase-X.X.X.zip. Isn't this what "Optimization project, Step 3" is about?
