you mean it's not selected while the official firmware has it inside?
Yes, it is.

the developers don't commit their .config
But the .config in the svn I think that it should be the same of the built Fon-firmware;Now it is different!

but in your openwrt folder you will find several .sh files
one of them will build all plugins incl openvpn if you manually select them... they will then be converted into plugins that people can upload on the dev firmware or select on the enduser version if available on www.fonosfera.org <http://www.fonosfera.org>

    Hi Steven,
I checkout the svn, I changed the target system to fonera2.0n I
selected the kmod-ipv6 and built. Seems that the .config is
different from the official firmware shipped from FON; for example
the openvpn package it's selected while it's present in the
    Fon-firmware.
Where I can found the /.config/ that the developer have used to
    build the fon-firmware ?

    thanks, Paolo

Hi Steven, thanks for answer. The procedure that you propose
is a little drastic, what do you think ?
I would like to install kmod-ipv6 and some ipv6 related
software without built a new firmware.
I think about a plugin for the fonera firmware but without
the main support in the official firmware I can do nothing.

It's drastic to push ipv6 to everyone ....
first try it out locally on your own test-firmware...then offer
    it to other ipv6 testers...
and then it might get merged/activated in the main trunk...
at the moment you have 100% control in creating a working
firmware with all ipv6 stuff you wish for...
you are not blocked by inactivity from FON... you can test and
see which blocking issue will come next!
