We will start pushing our pending 4.8 merge requests trough Gerrit. We will first push them to 4.8, but many will be applicable to 5 as well. We would like to proceed in such way that the review is done for 4.8, and after accepted we push applicable commits to Qt 5. At some point, maybe to some extent already for 4.8.1, we need to agree how we can best backport fixes for errors in 4.8 that are already fixed in Qt 5.
