Wow, such an awaited event went so unnoticed. The bug report is not that verbose either. Can you or someone write a blog post that we can link to in order to let the world know? It would be really appreciated. Also, is there a Qt Project maintainer for Qt 4 or how does it work? Who are the contacts? Please fill the appropriate information at http://wiki.qt-project.org/Maintainers and/or http://wiki.qt-project.org/Who_does_what . Even a Qt 4.8 wiki page would be useful.
