I admit that I was thinking about WebKitQt name before Allan proposed it, for the same reason + because project becomes somewhat more "WebKitish" and less "Qtish" over the time. However I have the same concern as Florian, i.e. difference is too subtle to eleminate confusion, and too significant for seamless update. BTW, I think it's not strictly necessary to equate public name of the project and basename of the final component of repo url. For instance, new repo could be at qt/webkit.git. Optionally with snapshots and tags pushed into qt/qtwebkit.git for convenience of packagers. > > FWIW the unofficial name it just happened to get in various related > IRC channels is "QtWebKit-NG" ;) > > Florian > > -- > http://www.the-compiler.org | m...@the-compiler.org (Mail/XMPP) > GPG: 916E B0C8 FD55 A072 | http://the-compiler.org/pubkey.asc > I love long mails! | http://email.is-not-s.ms/ > , > > _______________________________________________ > Development mailing list > Development@qt-project.org > http://lists.qt-project.org/mailman/listinfo/development -- Regards, Konstantin _______________________________________________ Development mailing list Development@qt-project.org http://lists.qt-project.org/mailman/listinfo/development
