I have some quick questions regarding the current state of recording on the openmoko. The wiki is unclear.
The wiki states that the audio input is currently directed piped into the GSM modem, and that piping it anywhere else is currently under development. However, the image I have has the ALSA package, which supports recording. I have been unable to use it, since I have been unable to get the pyalsaaudio or ossaudiodev packages installed. Is the phone currently able to record calls? Do the kernel drivers support this? Thanks!
