So for us to do things like windowsDesktop, appleDesktop, etc, we need to have 
a genericDesktop parent. So thats what I did. And then to prevent introducing 
this breaking change in the 1.0.* release, I aliased genericDesktop back to 
desktopDevice. This led us to making the decision that genericDesktops and 
specific desktops like windows and apple should probably go into the OS aspect. 
Regardless, desktops need to be detected as a device class. So thats how we got 
here.

So now im going to ask you, can you please start paying attention!!! :)

Again, the name change makes sense, the manner in which it is
