I don't know if this is a well known fact, but at least it was certainly new
for me:

Using an E-Smith 4.06b:

Having created user groups on the E-Smith, those groups as well as the normal
accounts show up in the LDAP system. Just as we can choose to send a mail to
user [EMAIL PROTECTED] we 'll also get suggestions from the LDAP server that
it's possible to send a mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] (expanding that
mail to all members of the group "officestaff"), and I believe that's exactly
the way it's supposed to work.

Now to something wierd: Having created the group "office.girls", the
recipient [EMAIL PROTECTED] shows up as a possible recipient, but
when a client tries to send a mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED], he gets a
reply from Qmail mailer deamon that the message cannot be delivered.

What I really want to know is how 4.06b and 4.0 final differs in this aspect
(I just tried to recreate this at home on a 4.0 final, and that works
wonderfully....)

How can I fix this small detail on my 4.06b server?

Best Regards:

Lasse Johansson
