I looked back on previous messages that deal with e-smith and appletalk and did
not see anything relating to this strange behavior.
Appletalk networking is working, no problem to see the server or the attached
printer however rather than using the ibay name (example "work") the ibay's
description ("client work files") is what we are seeing. It is certainly not a
critical issue since the files are still available but it seems a bit curious.
"Home Directory" appears also instead of the user's name.
I also find that if the description is too long ("client work files" used to be
called "files related to client work") the ibay is not available to the
Macintosh.
It's not a big issue but suggestions to have it use the ibay name would be
appreciated. The e-smith version I am using is 4.1 with the available updates
installed.
