I just noticed another tidbit playing with 4.1beta2....

Using webmail I attached a document to an email (in this case a MS Word
document). I sent the message and logged in as the recipient to retrieve it.
In the message, there are two options for the attachment, one to "view" and the
other to download. When I tried to view the attachment, I got this message...

MS Word Viewer
sh:/usr/bin/wvHtml: No such file or directory

Now, I went back and checked the status page (for beta3) and found this....

Webmail

horde/imp/config/defaults.php3 contains references to a few external binaries
which aren't installed by default on the e-smith system; it seems that these
perhaps
shouldn't be listed. The ones I noticed are wvHtml, xlHtml, and zipinfo.

I did a little checking and found the site for this program...

http://www.wvware.com/

Basically parses any Word document (2000,97, etc.) and renders it as Html.
Sounds useful to me.
It is GPL licensed. Any chance we can get that integrated in 4.1?

Just a thought :)
