I just installed the updates to 4.1.1 as instructed on
ftp://ftp.e-smith.org/pub/e-smith/e-smith-4.1.2/4.1.1_updates, and I
find that my SSL cert and key have been overwritten. I'm not positive
that it's the updates that did it, though, as the files were datestamped
4/18, while I installed the updates on 4/20. The "new" files were
self-signed, and carried the name of mydomain.com, rather than
www.mydomain.com, guaranteeing SSL errors every time I'd try to access
the server.
What might cause the SSL cert and key to be overwritten like this?
