Here is a contrib rpm for creating a web application bay. This allows you
to seperate information storage from web application storage.

Differences from i-bays:
The directory they are created in can be specified. (Use /usr/local/appbays
for app-bays instead of /home/e-smith/files/ibays)
(In the installation instructions if you specify /usr/local as the
directory, the app-bays will actually be put in /usr/local/appbays and not
directly into /usr/local)
Only one access level is allowed through file sharing and ftp. That is group
read and write. This allows one group to be the administrator of the
application bay but doesn't allow anyone else to read the files.
Public access is only available by web browser. No anonymous ftp access is
allowed.
Execution of CGI scripts defaults to enabled.
The three directories of app-bays are: cgi-bin, html and private. The first
two function as with i-bays. The private directory replaces the files
directory and is not accessible via public web access. This allows for a
directory to store configuration and data files for the web application
without worrying about them being in the web path.
