Charlie,

I download the netatalk-1.5pre5-1 RPM and installed it. My OSX box now
crashes the finder when I try to connect. It used to work for single files,
but never for applications or directories.

I wonder how much effort your really going to need to put in this since
Steve Jobs said the other day when OSX 10.1 comes out in September it will
connect to any Windows box. Might be better concentrating on making sure
older Macs have no problems connecting instead of worrying about something
that will be a non-issue in a month and a half.

Let me know what you would like me to do. Guess I had better track down the
original RPM huh?

Dan

I have a later version of netatalk in my contrib directory, and it is
suppposedly compatible with Mac OS X, but we haven't yet set up facilities
to test the compatibbility. I'd very much appreciate reports, good or bad.

Fetch the upgrade to the netatalk RPM, apply it, then do "signal-event
console-save". Let me know how you get on.

Thanks Paul
