AS WITH MOST THINGS ON THIS LIST. TRY AT YOUR OWN RISK!!! I have created an update ISO that will update ALL packages that are part of the SME 5.1.2 distribution to the latest available. This update is based on the RAWHIDE distribution instead of RedHat. This was done to get packages updated a little more and from the appearance that RAWHIDE does a good job of keeping up with update/fixes as they are released.
There is a readme along with the ISO image. It is quite straigh forward to update an NEW SME 5.1.2 box. I have not tried this on any other setup and would not recommend it any other way. The reason I put this together is so that the devinfo community can bind together and hopefully solve the few remaining problems with going to the 2.4 kernel and such. I would like to thank all that have helped in putting this together. Especially Gordon and David. Their input was crutial to getting this out.
