Hi!

> 1) SME is promoted as a Server and Gateway (and an excellent piece of
collaboration it is too).
1. SME has also "only" Gateway functionality as well (tested feature and
works)

> 2) It is also the router
2. Only in Server/Gateway mode

> 3) A core function of a Gateway Router is the ability to direct
traffic
3. I have been testing ESSG from version 4.x.x to 5.6a8 and all versions
have been behaving like they should.

> 4) Therefore SME should have "user-friendly" Port Forwarding built in.
4. Simple "one-to-many" port forwarding functionality is there and very
user friendly... (Prior ESSG5.6alphaX) thanx to Darrell
(dmc-mitel-portforwarding-0.0.1-4.noarch.rpm)

Additionally admins can make changes via command interface (I think
everyone*admins of course*, who has been dealing with linux knows how)
