We removed obtuse's smtpd in 5.5. We replaced it with Bruce Guenter's
mailfront package. In 6.0b3 it is
mailfront-0.81-1.i386.rpm
You'll find the SRPM in
./dev/6.0dev/SRPMS/mailfront-0.81-1.src.rpm
of your favourite mrror site.
