To clarify, my only intention with creating the channel was to have a
place to casually chat with other users of the E-Smith/SME distro. If it
is wanted I can just let the channel lapse. I do think however that
having a place of immediate contact with a community of users though a
IRC channel can be a positive. The php chat was rather "clunky feeling"
to me and since I am always on freenode I thought it would nice to have
a channel going. But like I said if people believe this to be a
distraction I will let it lapse.
