I have to add that I have no good feeling for our 7MB download as well. People are
prone to double-install
(saying: "without Java/with Java?,...well to be on the safe side....") the JRE which
is IMHO a separate
software package (and should stay as such).
But that is my personal feeling and I will follow whatever the majority of developers
thinks is best for
Freenet.
