Is this an argument for or against doing FEC in Fred?  It looks like it 
is for.

Whether the work is being done in the same VM, or a different VM, it is 
still consuming the same resources, namely the processor cycles and 
memory of the user's machine.  It really shouldn't make much 
difference, except that running two JVMs consumes more resources than 
running one.
