Given that xor spent the past half year working on WoT as a volunteer,
worked on Freetalk and WoT as a volunteer before being paid for some
time, did his bachlor thesis on WoT and is willing to work full time for
a year for meager 27k$ (for reference: I wouldn’t even start considering
it at less than three times that amount), I think that xor honestly
thinks that WoT and Freetalk are the most important next steps for
Freenet which easily trump most other parts by several orders of
magnitude.

So I do not think it is called for to call this a strategic
vote. However I do think we need a clear message of confidence from Ian
that this method will not be used as binding vote.

@Ian: can you make a clear statement that this will not be used as
justification that we “must” take a given decision? This is the only way
I see to avoid providing fuel to toxic discussions about the votes
(which already started here).
