I disagree, and you had more than enough opportunity to offer your feedback
on this proposed approach months ago when I first proposed it.  Suggesting
an alternative at this late stage is unhelpful.  While your proposal makes
very little sense to me, I'm not going to get into a debate over it, the
time for that was several months ago.
