I am, of course, anti-XML. However, to be honest, I should point out
NanoXML, a 5K jar for parsing XML, available on freshmeat. It looks pretty
okay, but I haven't looked into it too much.

I still think XML is a silly format to use, though. It would be good to
use if we were going to be importing/exporting/editting metadata with
other programs. I don't see that as being done very much.
