I guess that'd be fine, assuming we're on the same page regarding
the meaning of connection relay.

Have you considered how brutally this would fuck our connection
latency, though? (Recap: the outside node connects to a relay
specified by the natnode, and the relay - with which the natnode is
constantly connected - tells the natnode to connect to the outside
node.)

Not to mention the terrifying implications of adding yet more
complexity to Fred.
