Q: What did you see in Belgium? I don't like SSL. I think it's too bloated. I *much* prefere our own system where we know exactly what's going on. However, in terms of hiding Freenet traffic I see no problem with tunneling Freenet in SSL. But I want the *full* Freenet protocol inside SSL (crypto and all). At the moment I don't see any great need for this. Although flagging the Freenet MPI handshake is possible most ISPs don't have the off-the-shelf tech to do it.
