I just checked in changes to make requesting work.
I also added a -C / --useFCP option to Freenet.RequestClient to make it use
FCP instead of FNP.
There's a bug somewhere that causes a hang only if the output files aren't
specified. i.e. it's fine with:
java Freenet.client.RequestClient --useFCP \
--metadata md.txt freenet:KSK at somekey \
somekey.txt
Let me know if you have any ideas.
I haven't tested inserting at all.
