Huh? This looks like a solution in search of a problem.

There should *never* be links with a hardwired port numbers in them in
freenet sites.  You just use relative links. e.g. "/MSK at KSK@supercoolsite//".

The only content that have hardwired "http://localhost:8081/"; is external 
gateway pages.
