It appears, subtly, on the Nubile site in Freenet. The example line has a "PAgM" appended to the public key. > Do I need to add it to the public key when running fcpputsite for > example? So far I've been entirely unsuccessful in trying to insert a > freesite, and I'm wondering if PAgM is the reason. No, the problem is MUCH deeper than that. It's simply that fcpputsite is utterly, totally and completely broken. As far as I can determine, it always has been broken; on occasion, it's managed to work, a little bit, for some lucky people. I've fixed a few of the more glaring bugs in it with small patches, but it needs a full rewrite. jekyll:~/freenet$ fcpputsite -n pegasus -d -v 3 Greg_Wooledge/1 Greg_Wooledge wlUk5niRuNDUL4lzvdHu6DamhW8 [myprivatekey] fcpStartup: begin 1 open sockets sending fcp id bytes sending handshake... fcpStartup: awaiting response
