There was talk a bit ago about replacing Freenet Forever on the gateway page. The author has not added any meaningfull content on that page in near a month. I definitly support the idea of replacing that link (on such prime realestate) with something else. As before, I still believe that The Index Index is best suited to replace it. Attached to this email is a patch to DefaultServlet.java that does exactly that.
There was talk before also of the rule that only DBR sites be allowed on TII. This is done because the index sites are expected to update frequently - this will become especialy true as freenet grows and multiple sites are added daily to each index. If someone can come up with a decent argument against that policy I'm sure it would make it's way back to the author of TII. Tyler ===== AIM:rllybites Y!
