Don't try to teach your grandma to suck eggs... :-)  Look closely
at the "-print0 | xargs -0" part of that pipeline.  The only
buggy thing about it is xargs cat fails in the presence of 
filenames containing newlines.

That would have been the way someone with good social skills
would do it, but I do my best.  I guess Ian made his decision,
and I will try not to abuse his trust.
