Ian (and everyone else on the list): Could you post info on a) the exact os version b) the exact JVM version c) any log messages you are getting?

Get http://cvs.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/freenet/Contrib/fecimpl/onion/alien/fec-1.0.3.zip 2. unzip it in a temp directroy somewhere. 3. Put fec-win32.jar/fec-linux-x86.jar on your CLASSPATH. That should be all you need to do. The native code is inside the jar files.
