The fix does not work very well for transparent backgrounds (an extra-padding seems to be applied) but it's less ugly than withouth the fix. Both files needed to fix are 997 bytes, plus 94 characters in the HTML. If somebody is worried about a bigger HTML: both HTML and CSS code is full of redundant whitespaces and can be cleaned. Users not using IE6 will not download both files required for the fix. Let me know if you want to apply the fix or provide more info about it.
