The main problem with this is minimalist uses activelinks. We could move the bookmarks onto a menu. We would need support for nested menus to do this. Or we could make activelinks work well, but that would require fixing and enabling web-pushing. One problem with this (emphasis on search) is search still sucks: it is slow, and the new-format indexes are unreliable. This will require a lot of back-end work to optimise it.
