'config view' only shows what you have in your persistent config. Out of the box
you don't have a persistent config and the default values from the CLI 
parameters 
apply. If you run 'minishift start -h' you will see the defaults you are after.

I tend to agree, however, that it would be nicer to show the defaults for
'config view' as well. Do you mind creating an issue in 
https://github.com/minishift/minishift/issues

At the moment the config is read into a map and then iterated over. On a given 
system
I would expect it to be the same, but then again the iteration order is not 
defined,
so we would need to programmatically order the results prior to printing to 
screen.
