I know this is not a solution, but a kludgy workaround. I've had to do this myself on occasion. If you write the special letters somewhere else, you can copy them and then paste with Edit->Paste Text. I have no idea how to do non-ascii input[1], much less how to handle it in a program. For characters typed directly from the keyboard, I think it should work (any confirmation), but we don't handle multi-key input. -Lars [1] I hacked keystrokes into Emacs, so I've never learned how GTK normally does. -- Lars Clausen (http://shasta.cs.uiuc.edu/~lrclause)| Hrdgrim of Numenor "I do not agree with a word that you say, but I |---------------------------- will defend to the death your right to say it." | Where are we going, and --Evelyn Beatrice Hall paraphrasing Voltaire | what's with the handbasket? _______________________________________________ Dia-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/dia-list
