After a second of thought, maybe here's an idea: I've wanted to do the text-edit mode separately anyway, to avoid confusing with keyboard shortcuts. Can we have input be done through a GtkWidget temporarily embedded in the canvas? Can we make it display the same way it'll come out (but with some visual indication of the edit mode, like white background and a board)? Just a thought. The font issue may be tricky. -Lars -- Lars Clausen (http://shasta.cs.uiuc.edu/~lrclause)| Hrdgrim of Numenor "I do not agree with a word that you say, but I |---------------------------- will defend to the death your right to say it." | Where are we going, and --Evelyn Beatrice Hall paraphrasing Voltaire | what's with the handbasket? _______________________________________________ Dia-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/dia-list
