problem using dia 0.30

Hi,

I recently inslalled dia-0.30 (from sourcecode), and I have a problem with
saving/loading diagrams. 

Saving a diagram works ok, but loading it back fails giving lots of XML
errors. Also, the saved file looks binary instead of XML to me.

Is this a bug or a feature?  :) Or I should get the latest version from
the CVS repository?
